  • Xray

    Pricing model

    AI test case generation
Zephyr Skills and the Zephyr Agent for Rovo generate structured test cases from Jira work items or prompts, on Standard and Advanced; generated cases carry an AI_generated label and nothing is created automatically.

    Pricing model
Per person: Designer per person who designs cases, Reporter per tester. Never per user of your Jira site.
    List price
    Designer Pro $39 a month or $390 a year (Power $79). Reporter $12 per tester a month or $120 a year.
    Jira integration
A separate web app connected to Jira Cloud with an API token: nothing to install in Jira. Jira Server and Data Center are not supported.
    AI test case generation
Designer reads the story, its epic and linked tickets, drafts the suite and turns each rule the story leaves open into a question instead of a guess. Every case and every change is a proposal your QA accepts.

Quorum Reporter is coming soon; its price is already set. See Quorum pricing or try the savings calculator.

FAQ

Questions about choosing a test tool.

Which test management tool is best for Jira?
It depends on how you work, and each comparison says when the other tool is the better choice. In our view: Xray and Zephyr suit teams that want testing inside Jira and have a small Jira site, since they are billed on every Jira user; Qase and TestRail suit teams that want a separate test tool priced per user, with imports and, for TestRail, on-premise hosting. Quorum suits teams whose stories leave rules open and who want AI that asks before it writes a case.
Why are Xray and Zephyr billed on every Jira user?
They are Atlassian Marketplace apps, and the Marketplace licenses an app for every user of the Jira site, developers and product people included, not only the people who test. Up to 10 users both cost US$10 a month; above that each user is charged by band.
Does Quorum replace my test management tool?
Quorum Designer does not: it designs test cases and sends them to Jira, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail or Qase. Quorum Reporter is test management priced per tester, and it is coming soon. It does not import cases from other tools yet.
How do you keep these comparisons fair?
Every fact about another tool comes from that tool’s own public pages, read in October 2026 and linked at the bottom of each comparison. Opinions are labelled as ours, and each page lists when you should choose the other tool. If something is out of date, write to support@usequorum.dev and we will fix it.

Whatever tool you keep, add the AI that asks.
